Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous in the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the television film Nightingales as well as the short-lived NBC Show with similar name, Erica Paget, as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swinson, a Californian nativeSwanson was acting from a young age. She started her career in acting with a number of commercials. The actress was featured in a scene in the NBC sitcom It's Your Turn in the year 1984. Her first big screen appearance came just two years later in the romantic drama Pretty in Pink. Swan, known for her breath-taking voice and smooth blonde hairdo, has played various roles on the side in the past couple of years. In 1989she was awarded an award called the Young Artist Award for Best Young Actress in a Horror or Mystery Motion Picture for Flowers in the Attic.
